Sadly it's morons like this that give genuine ppl a bad name. SAome ppl just tar ppl with the same brush & think everyone on benefits receive them because they're idle etc. I'd love for them to swop lives for a day or two & see how they feel then :smile:

thats appaling you just wouldnt if ur kids were that bad how can theyg et disability when they are like that and ppl with genuine illness cant get out ppl have told me i could get it for riley with him having an erbx palsy and me giving him physio but im not bothering i neva have and i neva will for 1 hes a normal child apart from his arm which can restrict him but i wouldnt go through the embarasment to try and then get turned away if u know what i mean

I know someone who can only think about getting money for any tiny problem. She keeps nagging me to get disability for myself and says I would be entitled to it, I don't know if I would be entitled or not but I don't care cos I'm not getting it. I can look after myself I'm well at the mo and while I'm well I can work, I could be well for years without getting ill again! She even tried to get me to get it for Melissa because she has something called Duan's syndrome, I't nothing and not serious and won't affect her life at all, but this person (who shall remain nameless just in case) Keeps trying to tell me Melissa is handicapped because she's a bit slow with her speech so she's blaming the duan's, and I've been told by Melissas doctor it has nothing to do with it! Sorry for ranting on again!

I worked from leaving school until 11weeks due to having Ruby so I think I payed my own tax to get me through Rubys first smiles, steps and words.
If you need to be on benefits cos you cant work for one reason or another then fair enough but there are a few people out there giving everyone else a bad name
The first time I went to sort out my claim I felt embarressed and scared incase I wasnt allowed what I was entitled to but then you get these young kids strolling in to sign on with their £90 tracksuits and £110 trainers without a care in the world, oh some poeple really get up my nose.
I do intend to return to work when Ruby is older but for now I want to be her primary carer and I want to see her every move.

yeh its nice to watch them go through their baby years im currently looking for work with riley being nearly 4 i want to provide him with a good future and i want some independance now

wow so many replies and it all rings true there are ppl out there who use the system and dont need to.. I do want to go back to work and was all ready to do so there about few months back when Emma took sick again anoter infection she is prone to these after having heart surgery at 8mths old.. she was on DLA until she was 3 then they took it off her and im fightin to get it back becos she is always ill and now cos of the surgery she is a twisted thigh bone and cant walk to far without fallin over and cries at nite with the pain in her leg...

Wot annoys me the most as a woman I no who has 6 kids and is married but is claimin to the dole she aint so gets extra money.. but get this she is also claiming DLA for at least 3 of the kids saying the have ADHD and Autism how bad is tht.... her kids just need disipline and I mean tht cos I no there is kids out there who do def have these problems...

That's digusting! And then there are people who's children are genuinly ill and they struggle to get any money bacause of all these people that get it who arn't ill. (hope that makes sense!)

both my niece & nephew have serve adhd & my sister in law claims for them don't confuse badley behaved children for children who have adhd as the symptoms of it are very simular to bad behaviour & they can't control it also sometime they have short memry loss with it so they can't remember being naughty . the only way that this woman you know emerald babe can get la is by the children being assessed by phsycitrist & medical teams so if she claims it then in all honesty then they have been diagonsed with it!! we went through alot to get both my niece & nephew diagonsed!!
