Default psoriasis..... anyone ever had it ??


Hi was wondering if anyone has ever had psoriasis on the scalp, and if so how long did it take to clear up

ant has it due to pancreatitus, his calms down sometimes but never goes completley. it flares up when hes stressed

i think i have it, i have come up in that last few months with little like scabs on the scalp, they itch and have a scab to them. hubby says there like a brown/green colour. does your hubby have the same thing?
They also feel like there stinging all the time, and i want to itch them.
i have got a docs appointment on friday, but am useing t/gel in the mean time.

ant dont get scabs on his head but he does on his elbows. he can scratch his elbows till they bleed sometimes. he washes his hair in wilkos own anti dandruff shampoo. it soothes as well as stops the flaking.

my ex had awful phorisis. it never went away. his looked like really thick large flakes of dandruff. He went to docs and got a few things that helped, but it always got worse with stress. Go to the docs because if you have it, it can get very painful.

thanks for the advice hun, got docs appointment on fri. i find it gets itchy when im stressed.

i really feel for you. i know its not a nice condition to have, it can be a real pain in the ass, but hopefully there will be a treatment that works for you, although most smell a bit funky lol

another shampoo to try is tea tree, my sister uses it all the time. ant tried it and it calmed his down loads.

thanks jaki, the one i used yesturday really stunk, can still smell it now lol. i used t/gel.
