Those stupid little metal ties around toys!

At Christmas the kids had loads of toys that came in boxes but I was suprised at the amount of unsafe packaging were on childrens toys! They are like plastic coated pieces of metal that ties a toy to the box, what if a child actually opens the toy themselves or worse you drop one and they pick them up? I couldnt belive it, I cut my finger a good number of times on them!

hehehehe i moan about them so much this year it was worse though some of the toys where srewed in now i live alone and dont have things like screwdrivers!!!!!

Aww hun, they are so stupid arent they? Like those trikes u have to put together yourself, with no screwdriver!!! I think they shud include free screwdrivers, even if they wer cheap ones as long as they dont expect people to have them ready!!!!

i agree, them plastic ties are a night mare, wot really is the point, and also yes alot of things like cars etc are screwed in. they are so annoying!
pointless really, could use summit so much more simplar

Those ties are ridiculous, this year it seemed like they didnt ship them out if the package didn't contain at least 15 in every item...lol I didn't understand why they overloaded em like that. But you made a very good point VERY UNSAFE :!:

I agree with you!! Those things are terrible!! and on top of the safety issues it takes forever just to get one darn toy opened!! We also had some that were screwed into the box

just seen this & yes i agree they are totally stupid i mean by the time you manged to get them off your child has compleatly lost intrest & moved on to the next toy... the worse ones are the ones with the screws attached to it arghhh!!!!

hey evry1... well thats wot we spent the whole day doin at christmas!!! lol.... everything what relatives had got cassie eiva had them tie things in or had to be screwed together and further more needed batterys!!! they used to supply them with the toy..... so ur child is screaming foreva untill u hike to a shop or ur nearest relatives house to get sum!!! tehe!! ***
