hello.. just an idea.. but how bout u try and make it fun for her... go out with her and get her to pick some special knickers... that way she'l wanna wear them and look after them... then maybe if u can get her a special stool to use to get on to the toilet!!! just throwing ideas around... but maybe a sticker chart... only praise her when she uses the toilet.. and ignore when she has accidents...well not totally ignore.. just try not to make a big fuss... that way she'l begin to realise that she gets attention wen she uses the toilet!!! im now trying to get my daughter outta nappies during the nite so i kno how ur feeling!!... im doing a load of washing every morning coz she keeps weeing the bed... arghhh.. its a nightmare!! i hope these ideas r of some use!!

Hey huni... thanx for the ideas but she has got all that... the little toilet seat to go on top of the normal toilet seat, the little step to get to the toilet and im nearly bankrupt from buyin stickers!!! lol... she is just goin thru one of those stages atm i think... like it was half term and she wasnt at nursery...... hopefully it will get better now and i hope ur daughter eventually stops wetting the bed.do u wake her up in the middle of the night.. dnt pampers do them mat things now to put on the bed? wud avoid the pile up of washing!!! lol... gud luk ***

Trying to potty train at presnt, my dd was quite happy and wanted to try and loved the knickers!! but.................... she has stopped showing interest and has gone backwards again, so i have put her back in nappies and will try again when the weather gets warmer. Im am not stressed about it she will do it when she is good and ready to, she is 2 and a half at present. I had forgotten what it was like to potty train as the the last time i had to do it properly was with my eldest son who's now 12!!! he just told us one day no nappy just as we were making a visit to London Zoo!! He insisted on not wearing one so we went for it and i can honestly say he never looked back!! So this is kinda new to me!! we did have to train my youngest son, but it was diffrent for him as he has special needs and was not completely dry till he was four and even now he has accidents because of his cerebral Palsy.

So any tips would be gratefully received.

thanks

karenx
