Default what age was your child when they first went abroad???

well ladies, I'm a little stuck...my husband is all for us going abroad in dacember for a little winter sun, but the only resevation I have is my baby. She wil be 13 moonths old by then and i'm wondering if it will all be a bit too much for her. Airoplane noises, cabin pressure on the ears, traveling for quite a few hours etc etc

so I was just wondering what age your children were when they first went abroad and where you took them...

HELP! lol, my mind is going bonkers here!!

cheers all x

My sister took her kids at about 7 months I think... they were still babies... I have never been out of this country so cannot talk from personal experience, but my neices were both tiny when they went. They went to america

it was roughly 9hours!! they had a fab time.. my daughter still rememebers parts... my son doesnt!! but while they were there it was nice!! they did get really hot tho so me and hubby had to take couple days out just so the kids cud catch up wit their sleep and cool down!!!

going a broad i wud recommend a villa or apartment as this way u can put baby to bed and still sit by the pool!!! coz its just like being at home!!! just really hot and gorgeous!! hehe

with a villa or apartment, is it easy to get the food?

Go for it. I took my daughter to Greece in June when she was 6 months.

She was great on the plane. As mentioned above a bottle on take off is great.

She wasnt bothered about noise, she slept most of the flight!

The only problem is deciding whose lap the baby sleeps on!!!! haha lol

Thanks again all ***
