sorry, i just need to get this off my chest.

my best friend is pregnant and is in her last few weeks, thank fook cuz her hormones have been driving me mad. so much so that i have sincerely apologised to john for the times hes had to put up with me, lol ive realised that he put up with a lot if i was anything like my friend.

as u know a couple of weeks ago i went on a night out for my birthday. i never asked her (i probably could have handled that differently, but we arranged something for the next day) and she took it to heart. i was thinking of her and baby, one nudge is all it takes. and uv prob seen my pics on facebook to know i wasnt in any condition to keep a proper eye on her, i was too drunk. she cancelled the next day for her personal reasons.

she has often said that i dont make time for her, but i always text asking if shes ok and if she wants to arrange a meet. im 24 im too old for this crap, she sees her arse when i arrange stuff with other ppl. lol sorry its just the hormones i know, and i adore her but at the same time its like Grrr

can see why ure annoyed, cant be nice, like u say maybe its jus her hormones playing up and they may settle again after baby arrives.

as for the u didnt invite her out for your birthday im in same position, i didnt ask my friend her baby is only 6 weeks, n now i feel mega guilty lol, shes not best pleased
but sometimes u jus dont realise do ya,

and asking john to be godparent n not you is a bit selfish, id be gutted. but again it could jus be her hormones, and may settle wen shes had the baby and she might ask you then.

like u say ure 24 and cant b arsed with the hassle of childishness and 'well u forgot me' or 'well i wont ask her to be godparent then' bit childish really

hmm sounds to me like shes jealous to be honest hun, sounds like you are her friend and you cant be friends with other people whilst you are her friend... and for her to just ask john and not you to be godparent is a bit weird

i know hormones will be raging but im sure she should understand why you didnt invite her!!

i dont know what i would do, but i wouldnt worry yourself too much about her, i would just try and keep in touch and keep arranging to meet up and its up to her if she decides not to... hopefully she will see sense as soon as she has had the baby and realise that you do want to be her friend and make time for her
