Alfie has come home from nusrsery today with a letter for his school trip. They are going to a farm & are asking for parents to go & younger siblings too. Which in theory is good but the costs are colossal. It's £9 for children & £10.50 for adults. It will cost me £28.50!!!!!
I'm not tight but i think it's a bit much really. The coach doesn't leave school until 9.15 & returns at 3.15 approx. It takes a hour each way roughly. The school has said that if there aren't enough parents going the trip will not go ahead due to child to adult ratios. Two of my friends are going as it's just them & 1 child to pay for, & they'll take responsibilty for Alfie if needs be. I will then collect their older children along with my other son, as it isn't guaranteed that the coach will be back before the end of the school day.
It's all well & good organising trips but they should think of the consequences that it brings with it.
bloody hell Shell where they takin them for tht price thts a bit much... surely they shld be takin it out of school funds and then maybe ask for so much from the parents.. its a disgrace the way schools ask for more money these days...
I have to pay £1.50 each week for Emma nursery fund and then if we had to pay for school dinners which we dont at min it wld cost £9 each for her and Jessica... they are always askin for money for somethin or other and it does me head in the way they do cos they get enough fundin for it all...
That's with subsidised coach fare apparently!!!!
I've been on farms web site & enterance is £5.75 for 10 or more ppl & ther's no consessions for children!!! It's terrible
I would if i could drive He'll go & i'll stay at home with Leah If the truth be known he'll probably enjoy it more without me as he's really independant
omg benjamin had a letter about going to a farm £10 per person well we never sent him as it doesn't cost that much to get into the farm so we are taking him ourselves!! it's disgusting
