Bless him! Maybe she just needs to be aware of giving him "good" attention as apposed to "bad" attention if you know what I mean. Great that you sorted it though.

melissa seems happy enough now, but I still keep looking at her and wondering if she's ok. But I've told her now that she's to tell a teacher if this girl does anything and also tell me, I know violence doesn't help, but I've told Melissa that if this girl starts again she's to smack her cos personally I think she's only picking on Melissa cos she's quiet, so if Melissa hits her back hopefully she'll think twice. I wouldn't mind so much if it was just fighting, but it's only Melissa she does it to and she seems to have something against her. I'm annoyed though that I've only just found out and I wouldn't have known if I hadn't gone to the teacher myself! The teachers told the girls grandad, but said she'll tell the mother if it continues, I don't know how she's going to see the mother, the lazy cow sits in the car at the bottom of the hill while their grandad takes them and picks them up. We have put our name down for another house and I was going to stay close so Melissa could stay at that school but I'm seriously thinking of moving altogether.

Oh hunni, I'm glads she's ok today, but if it continues make a point of telling the mother - even if she is sitting in her car, drag her out through the window! Lots of love ***

I know I'm getting childish and this really isn't going to help, but as we walked past her car I gave the mother an evil and said really loudly "nobody will like that naughty girl when she's older, so she won't have any friends and you'll have loads cos you're very nice" I just couldn't help myself!! What I want to know is how does a 4yr old child know how to bully, fight yes, but this girl is bullying!

I completely agree with what you did - you have to protect your own and when it comes to your kids, nobody stands in your way! You don't suspect this other little girl is being abused (even mentally or physically) and this is her way of retaliating?

She seems happy enough with her grandad, I wouldn't have thought she was like that, but there you go! I'm glad you don't think I was being pathetic doing that to the mother. If it'd been a few yrs back I'd have dragged her out of the car by her hair and told her while her daughter was bullying mine I'd bully her, but it's not something I do now I have children, I don't think it's fair on them. I know when my sis gets home from work and finds out she'll want to come to school with me so she can have a go at the moher, but I don't want that. I don't actually know the mother and it might not have anything to do with her, but personally I think it has cos a young girl shouldn't know how to bully.

I think you did the right thing hun, it takes alot to keep your cool when it's your child that's involved. Iam glad to hear that Melissa is happier, if Melissa smacks her i hope it stops this girl in her tracks, but still think it was wrong of teacher to say she'd turn a blind eye!! GGod luck hun

When Jessica was in nursery she was getin picked on by a boy who they said had some kind of special needs... all he needed from wot I cld see was a firm hand especially from his mother who was so easy goin I wanted to hit her ne ways he was then put in her primary 1 class and continued to pick on her.. the final straw came when he slapped her in the face with a big brown wooden buildin block and the teachers said it was an accident little shite he shld have been told off etc.. he hit her in playground and it was brushed under the carpet... all becos of his needs

I went to the principal and told them I was takin it all further if he was not removed from the class but they never cos it was so near the summer holidays... Thank fully he aint in her class now and has been moved to another school ... but It did have an effect on her for ages the way he was treatin her...
