bullies

hate bullies with a vengeance! they really make my blood boil
eldest daughter has suffered from bullying at school and it just drives me insane
what on earth do they think theyre achieving?
are they really so insecure that they have to call other people names and put them down just to make themselves look better/big/hard?
why cant people just live n let live, you cant get on with everyone i know that but surely they can think of better ways to deal with that than being bullies
and why is it that schools do naff all? all dds school said was that theyd keep an eye on the situation. thankfully the girls involved got bored and left her be but now its all started up again with another girl (who has already been involved in bullying other kids, recently bullied a girl in reception even tho shes in yr 6!!!!)
anyway this has turned into a rant so ill stop now before it gets any worse lol
BTW any tips on dealing with the situation and school gratefully received

i totally understand where you r comin from!!! there's not much that i hate but bullies i definitely do!!! schools r a nightmare... more concerned about their reputation!!! i hope your daughter gets thru it all ok!! just as long as she realises that shes worth a million of any bully!!! i hope it all works out! :smile:

hi pinkfizz i know wot you mean. my son is only 6 1/2 and he has bullies in his class, they pick on my son alot, and the teachers do sod all about it.one child stabbed another child in my sons class the other week, with a pencil. and nothing was done!
my son is really really quite, and he lets the others push him about, i think the others feel that tyler (my son) is a easy target thats why they do it, as he does not rebel.
i hope your daughter gets thro it, i was a little bullied when i was at school untill one day i stood up for myself, wich lead to me being expelled from school and getn put on home tutition but i felt better inmyself for standing up to the bulllying cow that she was!
