Im due to fly to tasmania on saturday for my big brothers wedding. all sounds great until i find out from the airline they want a covering letter from my g.p/ midwife explaining all about my pregnancy. £25!!!!! i cant believe it! all it has to say is that theres one baby, im due next year and ive got no complications so far. £25 bloody quid! discusting!

why couldnt they of given me headed paper and i would of written the letter myself and them sign it! i wouldnt have to wait for it either then!!!

i agree hun it is a rip off. all the different charges are stupid. i couldnt believe you have to pay to see your notes aswell. i got told the wrong thing by my old gp, when i wanted to follow it through and take it further i was told i had to pay 15p a page. they are my notes about me so i should be able to see them free of charge.
