Doctors receptionists.

Before I had Holly it was a nightmare getting to see my DR and I have to go quite ofter as I have a thyroid problem and I could never get in. I remember one time when I was really ill, I couldnt move much and I couldnt stop throwing up and I rang and she said I wasnt sick enough to warrent an appointment. I rang my mum and told her and she rang them, gave them what for and I got an appointment and it was a home visit. BUT, I must say they are better now I have Holly.

I rang up once for ann app, and the receptioist said they had no apps for that day!! I was looking through my tablets and it said that if I feel generally unwell I have to seek urgent medical attention, so I rang back up, and told her what it said on the packet and guess what? I got ann app! Funny how they didn't have one before!

Well, I phoned my doctor's at 9am this morning and got an appointmant for 11.35am tomorrow, so don't think that's too bad. Had it of been one of the kids they would have seen them today though. Can't moan me

were having a new docs built soon, when its done there wont be any receptionists it will all be done by a touch screen, god knows how we will be able to make an appointment ! the woman on the reception at the mo is always half asleep i swear she aint got a clue how to book an appointment.mt sis booked in 2 day via the touch screen and it toldher that there was 3 ppl with the same app time, how? the reception told her she had pressed the screen to many times, not that it was there mistake oh no. you only book in on the screen not make appointments.

well our docs got those screens they only worked for a week and they been broke eversince

I've not even heard of them?! We're a bit slow up here in sunny ol' Addington!

it makes me laugh when ppl press them that hard the screen tilts back. at our docs now they even have a notice saying please use hand scrub before you use the screen. i swear they will get you to diagnose your health prob next and send you the medication in the post.
