Default Hospitials

I have been Ill over the last few weeks and at 2am not last wednesday but the one before I had to wake Clarebear and Ant up to rush me to hospitial because I could nopt breathe properly. When we arrived at A&E at our local hosp. the Paramedics had me on oxygen and the problem. when we got inside the triage nurse sat me in the waiting room for two hours telling me that there was only one doctor and they didn't know how long it would take. When the doctor did eventually see me she just did a blood test said everything was fine and sent me home with some painkillers.

Then last tuesday I was taken Ill again and yet again clarebear and ant came to the rescue but this time I was admitted being told that I had definatly got Pnuemonia in both lungs and maybe a blood clot aswell. When I asked if the doctor at A&E had done an xray in the first place would it have shown up the doc said most probably it would. Three days I was in hospitial on oxygen and blood thinning injections.

I the NHS thought about patient care and not penny pinching then it would have saved them a fortune in the long run. of all the peolpe in my ward half of those i spoke to had been sent home at least once. If they did their jobs proplerly then the NHS wouldn't be so stretched.

ARGHHHHHHHHHH It makes me want to scream. But if I do i will be out of breath so I think I will just keep to writing.

That's terrible, but the drs & nurses work the backsides off The problem is government funding etc . If there was more funding for extra drs then they could spend more time with patients instead of busting a gut trying to get all patients seen asap. It's about time the government sorted the nhs out & relieved the pressure on hospital staff.

Hope you're feeling better now
