Default older kids who acts like mother hens to the younger kids!!!

ok, this is a serious matter lol, my son is sooooooo mothering over my little girl, its rather annoying at times. almost everything she trys to do, he will get in the way to stop her, then shout at me to tell me.
he moans if i let her play in a well secured garden and im in the kitchen, he moans when i give her love hearts to eat, he moans when i give her a minimilk, if she plays with one of his toys, he panics like mad, incase a part comes of it. the other week when i collected him from school, he said"wheres tia"... i said... "in the car" ... he said... "you better of left her safe and with my dad"....... lmao i dont know where he gets all this from!
anyone else got this problem ? lol

Me ....I have that problem with my 11yr old....
He acts like an old man, sometimes its funny but other times he pushes it a bit far when talks like that to other adults...Then it annoys me because it sounds really disrespectfull and i hate that...
He knows when he is going to far because i chuck him my
"who do u think your talking to" look and he calms down quickly enough..with a swift appologie to follow...

my 9 year old isnt really like that, she was more like that when she was a toddler but now she'd rather watch dvd's on her own..... she thinks she's 16 but i think thats another gripe...... why are children getting older too soon? theres plenty of time to be moody and miserable i reckon!
