People that don't watch their children

well ive just been told down my mams that my cousins little boy has been knocked ova because he ran into the road after his cousin she obviously wasnt watching him poor kid has a broken foot

mothers round by where i used to live used to send there kids out early morn then they used to go out,u could c the kids sat by the door waitin for them 2 come back.most of the time they come back with a new bloke or they were drunk, it used to really wind me up. the kids used to be out in all weather.most of the time they used to sit under the arch where i lived. it used to do my head in as i felt like askin if they were ok.i used to stay out of it though as the mothers were smack heads.

thats just appaling my cous though will wish she had of been watching him cos shes pregnant and has a little boy whos 2 and she dont even have a double buggie so she wont be able to go out all the time

not being funny but mayb she will learn a lesson now. i hate it when were driving down a road and theres kids walking with there parents, but there parents are a mile behind chatting.u never know if there gonna run in to the road.

Clarebear it doesnt sound to nice in the area you used to live in It must have been so upsetting but aggravating at the same time, I can understand why you didnt get involved tho, cos some people can be real nasty even tho your only trying to help them out.

it was and still is a total shit hole i was brought up on the estate, its changed so much, if i had any kids id hate to have brought them up on the estate.a family in the square where we used to live had so many men going in and out, the police were there every night, the woman had no windows in her house, they were all boarded up. the housin were so fed up of it all.her hubby left her coz she was in bed with her 16 year old daughters boyfriend,after he left it was hell all day and all night.glad we got a move.and would u believe it some of the ppl who used to go to her house now come to a house on our road,we thought we had got shut of them.

i was round the school the other day picking up my lil sis and there was a young lad crying for his mum, luckely i knew them so i walked down the street, saw his mum and she reackons she was looking for him but she was stood chatting to her mate.

Thats not fair, he could have walked off or someone could have picked him up! When you're a parent your kids should come first!

yeh thats true i panick even if im a few minutes late picking riley up even though they dont let him out till i get there but still its true any1 could have walked off with him
