People that don't watch their children

Toady was my nieces 5th birthday & she had a party at a big play place, like a wacky warehouse but bigger. My daughter leah wanted to go in the bigger part & lewis whos 6 took her while i watched them. She wanted to reach the slide but wasn't quite big enough to reach. After the 2nd time he said would i go in so i did. I found 1 little girl who was breaking her heart, she was stuck & couldn't get anyone to help her & didn't know where her parents were. I took her to the slide & held her hand as we went down the slide. She asked me to do it again so i did, im really soft when it comes to kids. This carried on for the next 15 minutes until Stuart came to me & said it was time to go. This little girl was the sister of one of my nieces friends. her mom then appeared out of nowhere ^ asked her daughter ifd she'd had fun with me & leah. She didn't even know who i was, she'd never met me before! She didn't even say thank you!! When i told her the state of her daughter when i found her she looked at me as though i was mad & what did i want her to do about it. It really gets my back up when people are like this. She was afr to busy gassing with her mate to know where her daughter was with & what she was doing. AArrgghh bloody woman

anybody could have taken that little girl. i hate ppl who let there kids walk by the road aswell. the other day my hubby had to slam his breaks on( good job he was only going slow) there was a little boy wondering in to the road, the woman with him was to busy lighting her fag.it made me feel like getting out of the car and having a go but whats the point

that is so bang out of order some ppl just don't worry or care what happens to their kids too much inconvience for them to actually join in & have fun with their children!!!

I was walking up my street when I noticed a little boy about 2/3years old walking down towards the shops and the busy street road luckily I knew where he lived, I told him to come with me back to his mummy but he just wandered off, I walked as fast as I could with Ruby in tow and banged on his mums door explaining that her son was half way down the street on his own to which she replied "Oh I thought he'd gone quiet" she then calmly shouted her son back home and gave me no thanks or anything. God only knows how far he would have toddled if I hadnt noticed him

Oh, that's terrible! It would soon be somebody else's fault if something had happened to him though!

how do these parents do it!!!? my kids r my life and i wud neva in any way put them in any danger by my own stupidity!!!! i always kno where they r and wot they r doing!!!!! i kno that some people in my area think that i am a boring old fart and shud let my kids do more but they r 2 and 1 years old!!!!! maybe wen they r teenagers i may just take one eye of them but at the moment they r completely Dependant on every decision i make!!! and how some parents neglect this responsibility is just something i can not understand!!!!

I went to my sister in laws last night, she told me how her friends thought i was brilliant with the children i was playing with. If they liked it that much wht not say thank you I told her i was charmed but next time ill make the effort for them to dislike me & perhaps they'll look after my kids lol

down my mums area there are loads of kids out that are not being looked afetr of watched"!!! theres a women who had 5 boys, and they all go out to play in the raod!! last summer the youngest who is only 2 and a half now, (so was about 18 months then) was out in the street, no clothes on at all, no shoes and just had a nappy on!!! the mother makes me sick!!!
