people who hint instead of ask

it really annoys me when u kno somebody wants to ask u to do something but instead of just asking they play around the subject... ie.. my friend wants to go out and need a babysitter, instead of asking she says.. im meant to be going out 2mo nite but cant find a babysitter, i really wish someone wud do it for me..... why not just ask!!!! the worst that can happen is the answer wil be no!!!! by the way that really was just an example!! i would much rather people just ask me outright!!! its not v. often i say no to things!!!!

reassuring to kno other pple have same opinion.

my friends, (me being the only driver in our circle) instead of asking me if i will take em shopping, they ask me if i have any plan to go to a particular shopping centre on a particular day and if i am can they come with me.

as for babysitting..my friends had theirs early so theyr all grown up now..but they used to get their kids to ask to come stay with me for the weekend (instead of their parents asking if i will babysit), n then conveniantly mention on returning the kids home, ''oh..i made the most of not having the kids ere n went out on the razzle'' grrrr
