my bf is addicted to ps, and i fear it will be the end of us! he doesnt see a problem, but i cant stand it anymore, he talks to people online till the early hours ! its really sad, they play call of duty and fight eachother, he's 40. Our little girl is one and before she was here he hardly played computer games.
i hate it ! its bringing me down,

my other half has a ps3 and i enjoy him playing on it gives me time to do what i want, but my oh never stays on it all night and he doesnt let it control him have you tried talking to him at all about it?

but to say it pluntly that a 40 year old man would rather sit and play on the ps all hours is stupid! my other half is 22 we have games that we play together like buzz, singstar etc and then i try to help him out on his other games,

maybe you could try playing with him? or again tell him how it makes you feel

yeah we are the same, we have a ps3 but we play some games together like little big planet haha and then he plays fifa and ufc and stuff but i enjoy watching him play on them, but he only plays on it when our daughter is either in bed or content in what she is doing.. for him to be playing on it till all hours in the morning is ridiculous and could be affecting your daughters sleep! talk to him about it and maybe ask about getting a game for it that you can both play together

and that you both enjoy xx

john has an x box and he was on it to early hours at one point, but i told him straight. i dont mind him going on it, but to early hours was taking the piss. i said i was fed up of not seeing him during the day cuz he was sleeping in til late. hes been ok since. be honest with him. good luck. x x x

i dont want to play computer games, other better things to be doing with my time - like sleeping! i work all day, plus looking after my daughter.
i'm going to cut the leads on the game, that should fix it! no seriously i joke but its not funny. i'm going to have another word about it! i dont want to sound like a nag!

just noticed that in another thred you said your daughter is waking at half 4 and your partner is playing online till this time do u think maybe that it could be waking her?

Charlie has a point there. Maybe when he is going to bed he is making too much noise

I mean ok I have to agree with ya there playing the ps3 til all hours of the night isnt good but at least he is home and ya know where he is and what he was doing. If he was out all night youd be wondering what his doing and who he is with. I cant see why he cant play it but play it til a decent hour. But like others jave said maybe just talk to him and explain that youd rather you and him spend the time together. Good luck...

yeah marc did that, we were in bed and he woke BOTH of us up. so i went off it at him & he hasnt dared to do it since. i think i'd chuck him and his bloody x box out the window!!

he's in bed asleep when she wakes up.. so its not that. i will talk to him, see what i get this time, i normally get the old 'im not doing anything wrong, blah blah. It the talking to everyone else on line that i dont get, he talks to other guys as if he's a solider (he plays call of duty). i just think its really immature and quite frankly im sick of it.. !

well then you need to say something to him, hes just having fun the way i see it im sure you'd rather him playing cod insted of going out every night till the same hours.
