Default price of food these days


has anyone noticed how much food has gone up the passed couple of weeks?
i went shopping in tesco the other day.got my useual and it came up to £80. my normal spend is about £55.everything seems to be doubling in price and do u no what they said on the news.save ur left overs or dont eat so much! u dont always want to eat the same thing u had the night before.some things dont keep that long!

yes it is a rip off, the price of bread goes up like 10p from 1 week to the next! Ridiculous! I used to shop at tesco but it has gone up a lot recently and in the past few months I've been going to ASDA and i get faar more for the same money. I also go to aldi for fruit and veg as it is no different to supermarket stuff but miles cheaper!

i do all my food shopping in asda and for our monthly shop it usaly comes to nearly 200 but before we went this time hubby wrote a list of things we already had and what we needed, and guess what my shopping came to 100 for a monthly shop i was shocked, and then when we run out of cat food etc we just pop over to lidils

we end up paying around £450 - £500 a month now for our lot which is madness! Never used to be that much, nothing u can do about it though is there, we have to eat so u have to pay it unfortunately!

i can not believe the price increase in some things its stupid. it would be ok if some of the food actually tasted nice. we shop at morrisons quite a lot , their prices seem to have gone up more than anywhere else.

i no.i stopped shopping at morrisons i found there food wasn't very nice!
i went to tesco yesterday to pick some wetwipes,they had gone up by 80p since last week and the nappies had gone up by something like 50p.i was so shocked.we spend another £30 and came out with nappies wetwipes, binbags,cereal and some chocolate.£30!!!!!

Yes I always do that, i pop down to my local tesco express which is at the petrol station if i've run out of something, and it always comes to about £40 which could only be a basket full! It's shocking. Our money just seems to be disappearing like nobodys business! It's a joke!

i always do my freezer shopping at iceland i find the prices are really good. i got 40 sausages for £2 , they are nice aswell. 40 fish fingers £2. i also find its good when morrisons have a price crash.

yep we spent £280 now at least instead of £200 at most! Its apparently off everyone in debt whos gettin iva's! Grr! They make our lives harder!
