stupid people

2 days before my dad died he give me his wedding ring and said to take good care of it and i did not know what to do with it so know i wear it all the time and at times i wear it on my left hand because it makes me feel close to him and when i look at it i feel him with me and it makes me really happy.

but people keeps asking me if im married because i wear a wedding ring and when i say no and that its my dads ring and i had it made to my size thay say im stupid and that i sould not be wearing it because im not married and its making me upset because of what thay say and know i do not know if i should wear it or not.

people like you say are stupid at the end of the day and if it makes you feel closer to your dad and happier than keep on wearing it dont take it to heart there just jelous at the end of the day and obviously wouldnt understand something that is so special to you

I wouldnt listen to them. You are wearing that ring for many specials reasons that are close to your heart. Let them say what they wanna say and do what makes you happy. Your happiness is more important then their stupid opinions. ***

some people just have no sensitivity at all. dont let it bother you what other people ave 2 say, at the end of the day its your hand and your heart not theres and if it means so much to you, tell them where to stick it lol.

your dad wanted you to have that for a reason, keep that in mind when these people are saying these things and it wont bother you half as much.

I agree with the other girls, you should wear it, don't let those idiots put you off. At the end of the day it is your way to feel close to your dad and they have no right to say things like that to you x

ah stuff them, they clearly dont understand what its like to loose a loved one. ive been in a similar position but i wore the ring on a necklace. i had the odd comment but continued to wear it with pride.
keep your dad close where you want him to be ******xx

tell them where to go. If it is bothering you though, you could try wearing it on your right hand cos that's not the wedding ring hand. i'm glad it is a comfort to you.

Well i do not wear my dads ring any more but my bf does wear it because my mum gived me her ring and told me to keep it close to my heart. So i asked my bf to wear my dads ring as a love and promise ring and he said he would love to. So i had my mums ring made to my size and my dads ring to my bf size so we know wear them all the time.
You sould see the looks we have been getting but i do not give two shits because im over the moon.

I still say alot of people in this world are stupid
