He's arrived!

i had my baby boy n the 7 april at 11:34pm
robert tom folland born on Monday april 7th at 9:34 P.M. He weighed 7 lbs. 4 oz. and is 21 1/2 inches long!

My labor was easy I went in for my 38 wk. check-up on monday and my doctor said I was dilated to 5 cm! He stripped my membranes and sent me home to do some walking until my contractions became more regular. About 5 hours after I was home they got to 5 minutes apart but were not painful at all. I went in and my doctor said this is what we're going to do: Administer the epidural, break your water, then have the baby! I said Yay

He broke my water at 9 p.m. I went from 5 cm to 10 cm in 2 hours (feeling absolutely nothing thanks to the epi!) I pushed for 20 minutes and Baby robert was born! My doctor said it would have taken less time pushing but he was face up making him a little more difficult to push out but I was satisfied with only 20 minutes! No tearing or anything...It was a GREAT delivery.i got home on the 9 apirl and it feels so good to be with my son on my own.
