Default A 1 year old having tantrums!

Is this normal? I thought tantrums started at around 2, not now! Im mortified...........she has started screaming at me in the face, waving her arms about, snatching and growling at me............most of the time its hard to keep a straight face, I just wasnt expecting this so soon........or am I being rather naive? My mam says shes just realising she has emotions and is starting to use them..............Im dreading whats to come.......lol

xx

Aww dont worry too much my friends daughter started having tantrums at the same time, she pulls hair and everything. Every child is different and shows their emotions diffirently, Talk to your health visitor, she can give some really good tips on how to deal with them at a young age

Thank god its not just me! Shes only started the last couple of weeks and it worried me a bit a first. Like I said I found it quite hard not to laugh at first, but as someone mentioned above I have to be consistant and stand my ground!

Im sure its just her way of communicating with me, she doesnt know how to you yet and knows that a scream or a growl gets my attention! lol

Do you know, I always thought the first 3 months of ahving a baby were the hardest...........looking back it was sooooo easy to what is to come! lol
