Default advise needed

ok,i know i may have left this a bit long to only be doing it now,but i need advise on how to get my little lad morgan off his bottles at night.he is 2 on saturday and i was hoping to put him into his own bedroom.problem is he is still drinking 2 bottles of milk at night and waking about 4 times.i have tried taking the bottles completly off him,but as you can imagine it was a complete disaster. also, there is no way that i can 'tell' him no more bottle or the bottle fairy took them, because he still does not understand a word i say as we are still awaiting speech therapy,so he doesnt have a clue what im trying to tell him. ive also tried just putting water in his bottles, but he doesnt like that either. im at a loss of what to do,any advise is much apreiciated,as i can already see that this room swap is going to be a disaster!

i know this mite sound harsh but the only way i think hat tjis can work is jus doing it leaving him to cry till he realises ure not going to giv him what he wants n he will go bk to sleep in his own room. i had to do this ith my daughter not she didnt understand that bottles were going jus she didnt want to listen, so when she woke 4 a bottle i just sad mummy hasnt got no bottles go bk to slepp at 1st took maybe an hour to settle her and i was shattered constantly but within a week she got the message and went to sleep bout a month later i done the same with moving her into own bedroom, if she woke i would lay her bk down say time for sleep now. etc etc got all this from super nanny and amazingly it works lasted bout 5 days with that 1 and she stayed in own room and slept through i was amazed.
i know its different with all kids but think big part lays on persiverence of parent too. i didnt think i could do it felt so nasty wen she cied but stick at it. amazing results

my daughter was 4 before I got her off her bottle! she loved her milk so much, she would fill up on it instead of food. if he's waking 4 times a night, he might be filling up on milk too. try getting him to eat more during the day. have you tried signing with your son? i did that with my other daughter who had delayed development, it was so helpful and quite easy to learn basic stuff.
