Bottle Feeds.

Right Mileena has now been drinking 150ml's = 5oz SMA Gold for a few weeks now and has been drinking the bottle dry at every feed. I tried a few weeks back to put her milk up to 180mls = 6oz which she drank but then afterwards was being sick so I went back to giving her 150mls. I tried again this week to give her 180mls and she did the same thing. I dont understand because she is sucking 150mls dry and looking like she can have more and twice now I have put her milk up and she is sick afterwards. Has anyone got any tips? Maybe I should go on another milk coz I know there are different types of SMA. Or maybe her eyes are bigger then her belly... so to speak?!?! I dont want to not give her food if she is hungry but then again I dont want to give her food if she is going to be sick like that all the time and quite alot of milk too that she brings up.

If she is taking the 5oz of SMA with no problems I would think it was unlikely it was the milk making her sick. I wouldnt go changing milks though but if you do decide thats what you want to do speak with your HV first.

As for the extra ounce of milk its trial and error Im afraid. She maybe be gulping down so fast that it nakes it sick, it could be so many things. But if its worrying you talk with your HV.
