Default Children struggling at school

Hi all, is there anyone else out there who have children under SENCO at school? Do feel like i'm the only one sometimes! And does anyone have advice on how to get the children to stay focused on their homework? I do all the usual, up the table, no tv on etc. Their school reports came in this week and whilst they are progressing it is still at a level considered "below average", its upsetting and frustrating to say the least. Am I just putting too much emphasis on their grades? Or do i need worry?! x

My 6 year old son is being put on one as of September, mainly for his literacy and poor concentration skills, so I would also be interested to hear others views
