Your not the first nor the last to be a young mum and millions of young mums have their babies and do a wonderful job at bringing up their babies... some better then a 40 year old mother. Do what you think is best for your baby and yourself. Your mum might change her mind. Good luck hun.

u poor thing!! not onoly are u dealing wit being pregnant so young but now this!! i really hope u work things out wit ur mum.... and i hope even more she changes her mind... she has toi think about how much she loves u...becoz that is how much u will love ur baby!!! can she really think bout tearing that bond apart!!

i was 16 when i pregnant with my son and my dad disowned me for a while but he came round as he wanted to see his grandson i think your mum is wrong to make you choose no matter how old you are its your life and your body.im now 21 and have two wonderful little boys and yeah its hard im not gonna tell you its easy i started in a mother and baby hostel and now i have a wonderful home a husband and we both work hard to support our kids.i hope you make the best decision for you good luck and let me know how you get on.danni x

hi hun i have to agree with everyone else but only you can decide but it must be the right desicion if you let your mum bring your child up you could hate your mum years down the line. if it were me i would start making plans for yourself & your child. there is plenty of help out there good luck with it all xxx

well i talked to my mum today and she was not very happy but i said if she wants me in her life she will have to live with me having a baby and keeping it. so she said we will see how i feel when the baby is born and if i still want to keep the baby i can and she will help me. she said she did not want me to have the baby because she wants me to be older and because she wants my dad to be here for me but he can not be here so she said she is going to try and help me as much as she can. so it looks like every thing is going to be fine know well i hope so.

My mum was like that when I told her about my first child (although i was a little older than you) so I asked my mum if we could discuss it together and explained to her exactly how I felt. My mum was annoyed but eventually came round.
Now my daughter is 3 and my mum loves her to bits and couldn't imagin a day without her.
Just sit down like a adult with your mum and explain how you feel, you never know maybe she will see it from your point.
