Default She wont let me do it!

My little girl has 7 front teeth and has molars coming through at the back, actually they seem to be coming from everywhere at the moment.

ANyway. Since the 1st appeared she has quite happliy let me brush her teeth and she enjoyd it. This recent bout of teething though is a different story as SHE WILL NOT LET ME DO IT! She wants to do it herself, which I encourage of course, but obviuosly she isnt actually brushing her teeth just wiggling the brush about in her mouth.

If I try and get brush off her to do it, she goes mad and wont let me.

I am presuming this is due to her teething again at the moment and shes a bit tender or its the fact she wants to try herself.

Im worried because I dont want her getting bad teeth. SHe doesnt get anything sugary but suger is still present in foods/milk etc.

Am I over-reacting? ANy tips ladies on how I can get hold of that brush!?
x

It will get easier, she is just going through a phase and will let you do it again. My son has just decided he doesnt like the toothpaste we have been using since he was 1!! I have gone through 4 different types till i found one he will tolerate now, but he wont do it himself anymore, he says i have to do it cos he doesnt like the taste...kids hey
