Default Stressful!!!

Hey well i went bed at 11pm last night. changed the baby, fed him loads and i stayed in bed till about 11:45am this morning as i was so tired as seriously every half an hour sometimes 15mins he kept crying all the time and he was eating loads and then refusing it as he had too much.

he didnt need his nappy changing and sometimes when i held him he was quiet, other times he would cry still. i have a massive headache and im really stressed as i havent slept. does anyone know why he would of been crying all that time? since i got up about half an hour a go hes quiet the lil bugger lol

but i duno what to do when he's acting like that as i get no sleep at all... i spend all my night holding him etc is it normal? he's only 5 wks old or might there be sumit wrong? but he seems healthy though..

if it is normal any tips on how i can get him too sleep or be quiet if there is nothing wrong? im high on caffeine this morning drinking loads of coffee to keep me awake lol

I agree with the others, it could well be colic. It sounds though that he has his night and day round the wrong way too. My daughter was like that for a few weeks after she was born and would scream and cry and wide awake at night then would sleep most of the day. Its hard work but try and get a routine going, early I know but it does work, so he can begin to associate when its time for this and that. Just an idea.

But if you're not happy gp and see your Health Visitor, after all, you know your baby best.

xx
