Default Teats Question

Hey, i have a month old son and we had some normal teats and it was taking him ages to feed. so my bf went out and bought some variable teats and it says for new born plus but my son cant swallow it. he keeps throwing it up all over himself and we was using them correctly so we are just using the other ones now. why if it is for new born would my son be having trouble drinking from them?

babies don't come from cookie cutters?

Maybe he's just a slower eater at this point. If he's puking up the food it shoulds like he's getting too much at once. I say put them away and try again in a month.

I know it's frustrating. Both of my girls wanted to nurse every 20 minutes and would go for 40 minutes at a time. I spent the first few weeks stuck on the couch not getting anything else done, feeling like a human cow.

I tried about 4 or 5 different teats until I found one that suited, its trail and error Im afraid. I didnt find the variable much use so I moved her onto Medium flow which seemed to work, then back to slow, then to fast................just gotta keep trying hun Im afraid! You will get there, dont worry about it too much, as long baby is taking some of the milk he will be fine. ***
