Default teeth and prem babies

Hi everyone, I have a question for you, you see my baby, not so baby anymore. He is 14 month was 7 weeks premature. Some people have told me that they know people who have had prem babies and their babies had teeth really late and either had milk teeth all their life or their milk teeth fell out straight away and had adult teeth a year or so late. Joseph has no teeth at the mo, so now I am begining to wonder is it is true. I have looked on the internet and not found anything. Any thoughts? Anyone know anything. Thanks

Hi. My little girl was 5 week prem and she cut her 1st when she was about 11/12 months old, actually she cut 4 at once, then a couple of months later she cut another 4!

They will come I wouldnt worry too much, although your baby may get them all at once!

If you are concerned have a chat with your Health Visitor to put your mind at ease.
