hi ya all i know this sounds really silly and i should already know all about baby making, but can any one give me any pointers on the best time to try for a baby. (as im think when it comes to things like this).last week i had my first period in 10 years,and hopefully i have one next month to.some ppl say its best to try two days before a period and two days after. but im not to sure. hopefully some one can put me on the right path.

Hi hun if you go to wikipedia.com & type fertility it tells the most fertile time of the cycle, around the 14th day of your cycle, plus other info. Hope it helps chick x

When I looked it up online most web sites said the same thing which was on day 15 of your cycle the egg comes down and TTC on day 13, 15 and 17 or if your not going to just TTC around day 15 to have sex/make love every couple of days. Thats what we did was around day 15 or when we had time coz of work etc. Even if you made love on day 13 the sperm can live of a while and could still be there when the egg comes same with if you make love on day 15 and your egg's late could still catch it in time. Someone else said to me its best to make love in the day time. I dont know why but yeah.

Hmmm true hun. Well have you thought of IVF if youv got a period it could mean you have egg's.

i had the chance of ivf but my diabeties wasnt stable enough, so it would have been a waste.

well the only advice i can give hun is that 14 day slot & striaght after put your legs up high in the air for about 5mins even if against the wall sounds silly but 2 people i know i have done what i said & fell pregnant worth a try x

nothing scientific im afraid but just be a rampant woman for the next few weeks!! get it as much as u can as often as u can!! and yes just after ur period is a good time... just go 4it hun!!! also wen the deed is done make sure u stay lying down for bout 20mins after!! give the lil guys a chance!! ;-)x
