dianette

has anyone ever had to have dianette ? its supposed to help with excess hair growth, i had it last year,but it made me ill,i had a bleed for 90 days. the thing is i want to try it again, my health is a little better tahn it was then. what do you think ?

Clare, I was on Dianette for over 10 years. I too have PCOS and the main side effect I had was really bad acne/skin.........Dianette was wonderful and cleared it all up. I came off it when I was 26 and my poor skin came back.

As for excess hair growth Im not too sure but it would be worth a try hun for sure. Good luck and let me know how you get on!

No, another reason I went on the Dianette was to regualte my periods and it did a fantastic job. I could almost pinpoint to the hour when I was going to bleed. It took a few months for it all to kick in though.

my only problem is that i dont have periods at all. ive not had a natural one for years. when i was put on dianette,it was to help with the hair growth and to hopefully bring on a false bleed. the onlt thing is i was on it for just over 2 months and i bled for 90 days and ended up in hospital.i want to give it another go as im worried that the lining of my womb is going to build up to much, and cause even more probs. i know not many women pray to have a period but chic id love them once a month,at least it would make me feel more feminine.

I'm not too sure hun but ask your doctor and see what they say. I am sure they can help you and give you the information you need hun. I hope it works out.
