I stopped taking pill last month started trying for baby straightaway,was using ovulation test sticks every time not ovulating.Havent had period yet,done few pregnancy tests all negative. how long after sex would a test show positive if pregnant ,is it to soon?

well i would leave it until your next due on if you have no sign of a period then take a proper test. however i cam off my pill & fell two weeks later! don't put too much pressure on yourself & just enjoy the practicing & get them legs up in the air afterwards for about 2-5mins does work !!!

I agree with pinky, definatly wait to see if you miss your next period. Although with Angel I caught on as soon as I came off my period.

i think it may b a matter of wait and c as r periods can go all ova the place wen coming of the pill... also i came of the pill on 16th feb and am now bout 8weeks pregnant so it can happen really quick!!

also if you get pregnant straight away how can they tell your due date? because you havent had normal period.

Hello, I'm Debi, 26, mum of 4! Welcome to the site.
They still go from the first day of your last period - I had that when I fell with 2 of mine! They'll also check your dates with your baby's size when you go for a scan so they might alter the date a little after that! Good luck, and if it hasn't happened this time, it will, just RELAX and enjoy!

i have been given an estimated date of the 28th november but im having a dating scan soon so that will give me a more definite date... also wit my eldest i dint even have periods so they had nothing to work on so they gave me 2dating scans... i got 2dates.. 18th and 24th may.. she was born 21st may... so they r very accurate so dont worry they will b able to give u a almost accurate due date!!
