Default 2 Weeks already.

I feel so totally exausted. Whenever i sit down to watch television after i've fed Raylen she always cries, so i get up to see whats the matter..Play with her until she stops and then go away again. It feels like i'm going around in circles and i do admit when she cries i cry. My fiance usually helps by taking her out for walks and stuff....But i just get so angry when she cries and usually i just feel like dropping her on the nearest doorstep and running for my life....

I just don't know what to do!

Cearrah

I was the same when i had my first because i was not used to all the crying i had him all day by myself and some days he would not stop no matter what i did my midwife told me if it went on that long and i could not stop him just put him in a safe place and leave the room i always went and sat on the doorstep and blocked it out then when i calmed down went back in. crying does not hurt them for a few minutes and we all need a break sometimes. I have lost count of how many times i have wanted to run away.

first things first.. u can leave a baby to cry!! crying doesnt do them any harm so try not to worry if she is crying!! if u have fed, winded and changed her then she may just wanna stretch her lungs!!

u will find things hard coz ur life has changed in the biggest way possible!! u will also b more sensitive due to those lovely things we call hormones!! pain in the arse i kno.. but urs will stil b all ova the place as its only been 2weeks!!!!

my son was a crying baby so i kno how awful it is but once u begin to understand raylens cries things will get better!! remember u r still trying to get to kno her!!! no matter how much people go on about maternal instincts... these only to a certain extent.. we all go thru a long learning process!!!

so please try not to worry urself!!! relax and enjoy!!! things will only get better!!!

I find it helps me to stop Eche crying by doing the housework with him in the sling attached to my chest... he falls alseep there and I can put him in the moses basket. Also if Positioned right I can breast feed him while washing up which in turn makes him sleep too.

I hate it when Eche cries he is so loud....No wonder it stresses us mums out
