Im not quite sure if wot i am feeling is baby blues cos im not worried about my children or how im coping, but i am very tearful at the mo and thinking of silly things like the point of life and wot happens after u die which is very annoying, cant seem to think of anything else. Any advice?

Hi! Sounds like baby blues to me, i'd say get some rest whenever you can but you rarely can when you've just had a baby, mayke sure you tell your Health Visitor how your feeling and keep telling her so you can all keep your eyes on it and make sure it doesn't become something more serious! I hope you feel better soon but theres nothing really can be done as its caused by the crash of all the hormones that dissapeared in the placenta (one of the reasons they were known to eat them many many years ago!!!...... although i wouldn't advise it!!!)

hiya hun,
i cried so much for the first couple of months that my face was perminently burning and sore! but i too wasnt worried about anything inparticular, just cried
at 4 1/2 months however things changed and i was diagnosed with pnd while my h.v was doing a routine check on fiona because i couldnt cope with myself anymore. there wasnt any bad feelings for fiona, just for myself.

it sounds like you have the blues and nothing more but talk to your h.v about how u r feeling and she will keep a close eye on you. that way she will stop it going any further.
good luck and take care hun xxxxx
