the dreaded temper tantrums

my son is now 3 and these temper tantrums still happen very often the health visitors have told me is in the terrible two stage but they have told me the same thing since he was 18 months old. please tell me this is normal and i havent just a devil child. HELP..

nope hun it's normal benjamin has only just started getting out of it! i used to sit him on the step & tell him when he calms down then i will speak to him & once hes says sorry to me but until then you can sit there... seemed to work for us but you have to be consistant with it anything you think is wrong immediatly put him on it rudeness,naughty behaviour, tantrums etc! now if he does something wrong he knows it's wrong & says sorry

im afraid to say its completely normal!! my 3year old is worse than my 2year old!!! and i kno my sis 5year old and 10year old have temper tantrums too!! oh and my 14year old brother too... so i guess we'v all got years of it left!!! lol
