Both my boys have been terrible as they got older with nappy changes. Espcially my youngest, and hes teething so have very runny poo and it tent to go all over me, which is hard when you are in rush to go out, he usually chooses to do one as Im ready to take the kids to school. The only thing I have found which helps is to give him a biscuit or whatever his favourite thing at the time to eat is, hope this helps.

my little girl is 19 months and going through a similar thing. sometimes shes great other times shes a night mare.
i found that leaving her trousers round her ankles stops her taking off, but makes it tricky cleaning up poo! i know they say dont encourage it, but i also found that putting on her fav tv prog (dvd) and placing the change mat in front of the telly really works.

see if you can think of a course, it turns out with fiona that she hates being on a cold change mat, so we now put a towel or muslin under her bum which has improved matters a bit.

hope something here helps and good luck xxx
