not sharing toys!

ok i took ben to nursery this morning & asked them how he has been getting on they told me that he has a tendency not to share his toys with anyone & can get quite spiteful sometimes i just wondered if anyone else has or is gone through this if so what have you done to control it. he is a only child at the moment!!! & we are very chilled out here & if he's naughty he gets all the right disapline here naughty step ,toys taken away, etc i just feel as if i'm doing something wrong as a mum !

no child likes 2share!! its somethhing they have to just adjust and get used to!! coz ben is an only child it'l b that bit harder!! but dont worry hun coz even my 2 dont like to always share!!! and they'v always had to!!

advice i can gve is to try and have him around other children outside of nursery so then he can get used to it.. also its better if u r the one who helps him learn to share!!!

he'l get there!!! my friends lil boy used to b horrific wen it came to sharing... and i mean really bad.. but he's now in reception class and he is brilliant!!! :-)

cheers hun i just feel like such a shit mum at the moment i do so much with him in the day! i'm not into taking him to all these clicky playgroups etc one because i don't like them & 2 believe it or not i can be quite shy sometimes around ppl.

i neva like those toddler groups either!!! like i said it's nothing ur doing wrong its just something children have to learn!!

Well my two never shared either, i tried making Danielle give something to adam and then adam give it back...It sometimes worked, thats until i left the room and the two would try and kill each other lol!.

But i'd just tell them to be nice to each other and put everything out in the middle of them both so they could get it, if they we're naughty and didn't share i'd say thats not nice, or please share...Usually worked lol

this can be very normal hun. He will eventually learn what is right and wrong and sharing is one of those things most children find very tricky.

well dun everyone, theres no right way or wrong way to bring up a child, it jus depends on how you feel comfortable bringing them up. i think were all super mums.
