| | Teenage tantrums | | My daughter Melissa is ten years old... she throws temper tantrums like that of a 16 year old... she has been told at school by the teacher that she is very forward for her age... she has the reading age of a 15 year old, her maths ability is that of a 13 year old her overall attitude is that of a 14-16 year old.,.. today she has left home. She packed her back pack and left home, just walked out. The police cannot do anything until she has been gone 24 hours.
She has left because I will not send her to her dad in Maidstone.... she is scared of what is going on, what with neighbours this morning being caught ear wigging outside my back door and the police coming out twice today she is scared. She stormed out saying she is going to find somewhere safe to live if I will not mve out of leicester... i cant until I have a house.
She kicks off when she does not get her own way, she kicks off if she has to go to bed at 8 intead of 11 like all her mates at school
Does anyone know how to control an attitudal teen? Although like I said she is not a teen yet she is ten.

| | There are two police helicopter circling above me as I speak looking for her... she is copying behaviour froma school freind who is viscious to her mother... since becoming her freind she is like it too. She is also so flirtatious too, she was sexually abused at 6 by her dad and it makes her all the more emotionally mixed up

| | They found her at 8pm last night... she was hidden under a bush reading her school book. She came home and laughed about it thinking it was funny... I was not impressed to say the least, but glad she came home.

| | I have a 11yr old girl, she is in with the wrong girl,, she will not have any of it tho,, i have stoped her playing with her after school but she still does at school,, since we had a big argument and she hit and kicked me, she has come to realise that that was wrong,, i told her she would never ever do that again,, because law or no law i will hit her back,, kids today due to the law think they have the upper hand,, you hit me and i tell the police,, its realy daft,, not that i want to hit my kids to be honest i dont,, but they think they can do what they like now..
She now has 3 new friends and they are lovely girls and i have noticed a big diffrence in her..

| | yea there r defo limits!! but they r taking all discipline and responsibilities from us!!! people look at u funny when ur child is crying and feel like u cant tell ur child off in public!!! but kids need to learn their limits whether they r in publc, at home or at school!!!
i find it so hard to discipline my daughter.. she justs laughs at me and i dont kno wot to do anymore.. i feel like im losing the plot!! |

This sounds so much like melissa but making her leave her freind alone and find new ones is like asking her to draw blood from a stone.
I have the cbii coming to her this week
