My 8 month old was diagnosed with Reflux a couple of months ago, so I know what you're going through. Lucky my daughters isnt too severe but it did cause her a lot pain and a lot of mess for me. The Paediatricion gave me all sorts of advice that has worked well for me.

1) After a feed, food or milk, keep baby upright for at least 20 minutes, even if baby falls asleep in your arms try and keep them upright for a while before you lay them down.
2) Again after a feed, food or milk, always burp the baby for as long as possible, the trapped air can make it worse.
3) Give plenty of water inbetween feeds so to avoid dehydration
4) Always give the milk before the food at mealtimes, this way if baby starts spitting up its more likely to be the food not the valuable milk.

I hope some of this helps. Its hard I know and worrying, but it does get better, my little one now hardly ever gets pain or sicks up anymore.

xx
