What the hell did I do wrong!??

My little girl has taken a sudden dislike to shops. We were at the indoor shopping centre the other day and is happy walking about, but if I try and enter a shop she goes absoluetly crazy! Im talking sitting on the floor screaming her head off. As soon as I turn to leave she is all smiles again! Its driving me nuts...............i need holiday clothes and at this rate we will all be going to Greece in our undies!! Little bugger at the minute. If this is her at nearly 18mths I am dreading the terrible 2s. lol lol

My niece used to be like that, take her anywhere near a clothing store and she goes berserk lol. But i usually try bribary. Say if shes good and helps Auntie Katrina pick a nice outfit she can have something she wants.

Lol usually works.

i have a boy too and he hated going to grocery shops etc and i just basically sat there explaining that if he went into the shop with mummy then he could have a packet of grapes, id change the grapes to a packet of sweets or something else and it worked it just depends on how comfortable you are trying different things. i dont care if people are looking at me in the streets. lol. not their child hes mine hehe

hi there,now this may or may not work , but have you tried making a list together before going out of all the things you need to get,and then let her take a little bag with her and make it into a game of finding the things you want, even let her add alittle something to the list that she may want .

Mmm know this well, the eldest went through a stage of this when she was two and used to end up screaming in the middle of the shop kicking and flaying her legs and arms about...talk about embarrasing...mind you if the others play up now I just ignore them...stuff who is looking and moaning....they only play up with me...good as gold when the o/h is about Pppffttt typical.....the stage will pass
