Default I need advice on what happens to my daughter when she is 16

I left my ex partner 24th March 2009. I was in the first trimester with Andrew and Imogen was 10months old at the time! My reason for leaving was I was suffering Domestic Violence with my daughter and unborn son's father.....

Moving on...

He has wanted nothing to do with either of them since I walked out...now my new partner has taken on both my kids as his own! and Imogen and Andrew look up to him and Imogen calls him DaDa....and my partner makes me happy! Me and my partner are stronger than ever and I love him with all my heart and this is where I need your advice....

Imogens 'real' dad is named on her birth certificate where Andrew's 'real' dad isnt...Altho my partner was there when I gave birth and has been in Andrew's life since day one....So I look to my partner as Andrew's dad!

Yes I know I tell Imogen when she's older when she sees a different dad name to my partners....but will she hate me? for leaving her real dad...I just couldn't bare with the violence no more....Plus her 'real' dad doesnt provide for her ie no child maintenance in nearly a year!

i dont think she will hate you at all hun the way i look at it you did what was best for you and the safest option you wouldnt of forgiven yourself if you had stayed with him and had hurt one of the kids
