In agony and scared

When I was 33 weeks pregnant with my daughter I suddenly had Sciatica pain in my right buttock and leg. It was so severe that whilst out shopping one day I had to get ambulance out as I couldnt walk another inch the pain was horrendus. Little did I know at the time but it must have been my daughters head engaging as she arrived 2 weeks later.

Now Im worried as this pain has started up again in the same leg and Im all paniced about it incase its baby getting ready again. Im 27 weeks and 3 days.

The pain has started just how it did with my daughter, quite slight, but enough that when I walk it hurts. I know it will only get worse from here on.

Im hoping it may just be a different the baby has chosen to lie in for a while and he will move again and the pain will go as I really cannot face weeks of this horrific pain again. I swear, it hurts much more than labour!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I still have it Monday Im going to the Midwife to see if baby is engaging, I hope and pray it isnt yet.

i can only imagine what the pain is like, i suffer from sciatica, once so bad i collapsed in the house on my own n couldnt move it was so scary. so i can only imagine what it feels like with what happened b4.
like u say think its best 2 talk 2 ure midwife, hope u feel ok soon chick. x

Aww sorry to hear bout that. I never suffered from it but iv heard its horrible. Hope everything goes ok and it eases up soon. It would do no harm to see the midwife though if your worried about it. x

awwww hun scatica is the worse i have suffered with it since having benjamin! it comes & goes with me. hope you will be ok try not to worry hun i'm sure everything will be ok xx
