baby size

im 36 weeks preg tommorrow, hosp say baby not growing to good, was measuring 31 weeks at 34 weeks preg, if i dont measure at 36 weeks tommorrow will hosp keep me in and deliver baby.please could someone let me know.

there is a chance they will get u in early... depends on ur personal circumstance tho.. my friend had that same problem and she was induced at 37weeks.. her baby was not even 5lb... try not to get too worried bout it hun.. they have spotted the issue early and u r in the best hands!!

i forgot to tell u that my friends baby is doing extremely well now!! he was in hosp for 3weeks!! but is now 12weeks old and is a good healthy size and growing fantastically!!

I had problems from week 22 when they gave me steroids to mature his lungs, although if he had been born then i dont think he would have survived cos they were estimating him at just over 500grams. i was monitored weekly, then twice weekly towards the end, and didnt know if i was going to be taken in and delivered on that day. I was lucky and made it to 37+6 and they gave me a section cos they said he wasnt strong enough to withstand a natural birth...estimated weight then was 4lb 7oz and he actually weighed 4lb 11oz. He was breathing on his own and kept his body temp so was allowed on the ward with me.
You are doing well, and 36 weeks, even measuring small, your baby will be a fair weight...have they said what they are estimating baby at? Are you being monitored weekly or more?
