that is shocking! midwifes should provide good care no matter what your age is. just out of interest how old are you? i was only just 20 when i had my first baby and my next one is due in sep and im still only 21! so dont let them get to you. i had sharp pain too i thought i was going in to labour so i went to the hospital to get checked ou, it turned out that i was resting on my bump when i was sat down and i had pulled some muscles. plus if u have a long baby it may have its feet in your ribs.

ok well obviously alot of people will have some prejudiced views on that and you will probably find it harder to 'fit in' with toddler groups etc which is a shame, you should still recieve first class care and no one should make you feel bad. good on you for deciding to bring your baby up alot of girls your age would have decided to abort. i have a friend who had her first at 15 she is a fab mum she is still with the father and they have their own place and a gorgeous baby boy. so kick ass and prove the statistics wrong!

the reason why i booted my midwife was that i felt she looked down her nose on me she was loud annoying didnt pay attention to me one bit when i first met her was more intrested that she got a speeding ticket, therefor i now dont have one and im 17! but i have been offerd a teenage midwife maybe u should see if your hospital has one hun! x
