Iv not really been sick thru my pregnancy. All though last week I was sick a few times. Think it was just eatting loads of my mum's much missed cooking. lol But not too sure if it was pregnancy related sickness. As for the sleeping side of things at the start I couldnt get enough sleep. Id wake up have something to eat, sleep then get up and go work. I slept loads... and on days off... I would sleep near enough all day. I went doctors about it and they gave me Iron tablets which have seemed to have worked but within the last couple of weeks even with the tablets I seem to have gone back to sleeping loads again. They do say its common in pregnancy to feel tired/sleep lots. Just have naps and loads of rest when you can and eat well and drink loads of water.

Age old trick of a ginger biscuit to nibble on before getting up helped me, I was working when pregnant with my first and was soooo tired and being at home with a toddler and pregnant the 2nd time wasn't much better! Having a afternoon nap helped as well.

I didnt feel like the ginger biscuits helped me much, and although I didnt try this, it has been recommended to me... wear a motion sickness band, like the kinds you get to stop travel sickness! apparently they are a godsend, wish I had found out about them before my sickness wore off!

Hi I was sick too, tried everything but nothing really seemed to work except I found if i was hungry enough for my stomach to rumble then when I ate I would be sick, so in my last pregnancy I ate frequently through the day. As for the tiredness, a certain amount is normal but you could be anaemic, so ask the midwife or your doctor to take a blood sample and check your iron levels.

Im sick all the time 24:7 its so bad.. ive been admitted to hospital because i was so ill, they kept me in for 3 nights and i had to have 5-6 litres of fluid put back into me.. my bf said hes never saw me look so ill ever. Ive lost 4kg for it.. nothing has worked to stop the sickness.. the hospital gave me antisickness drugs- they do not work at all.. they make me feel even worse!
so im also is at my wits end!
and i sleep alot through the day at night i dont sleep even if i go to bed at 11 im still awake at 3am..
the joy!
xx
