Afternoon all,

just got back from hospital. they didnt say anything bout the size of the baby as they didnt measure him, (which is what i thought they were going to do), but every thing looks fine.

they have decided to induce if nothing happens but the earliest date that they can induce is the 18, which is my DD.

i would like to have him earlier but will have to wait and see.

hows everyone else.

Hi all,

sorry not been on been really busy

I had my little man on fri night at 8.33pm. He weighed 8lb 2oz and was 56cm long. It was a surprise considering that about 3 wks ago the midwife thought that he was only about 5lbs.

Got to the hospital at 7.30am and they put me on the moniter for a while and said that they would wait for labour ward to say when they were ready. we were then told that it would be about 1pm but an emergancy came in so they had to delay it. the midwife chcked me at about 10 and i was already about 3-4cms dialated as had been having mild contractions nothing 2 painful at that point.

There were also 2 other women on the ward with me and we al decided to take a walk to get things moving (at about 5). as we wnt to go out the mw told me that the labour ward was ready so went down and got asessed and they went to break my waters but they had already started to go.

and then just over 2hrs later Kieran James was born.

my partner was wonderful.
