Default glucose in urine


Hi

Has anyone had glucose in urine its happened twice now, first it was a +2 and this week its a +4 does anyone know is this high? I have to have a GTT test is the midwife worrying about nothing not sure if +4 is too high. Will appreciate any advice

not sure in pregnancy chic, but i know its high when you have diabeties. hope it all goes ok.

i dont kno bout levels but the midwife will b getting u tested coz its better to b safe than sorry!! and once they kno wots going on they can move onwards and deal with it or not worry bout it!!

try not to get too worked up coz they'l look after u!!!

Default Had the test

Well I had the GTT test and received a letter from the hospital the same week!! I have an appointment todaywith a diabetes consultant, looks like I have gestational diabetes! Very nervous and a bit scared hubby is coming with me so I let you know how I get on. Fingers crossed x

Default results

Well what a mess up! I was referred to the wrong consultant! I have SPD and was awaitng appointment and got the diabetes one instead. I have a condiion called renal glucosia it just means my kidneys are working far to hard and are producing to much sugar! It will go once baby is here. 9 weeks to go! So panic all over :smile: x
