Induced???!!!

Hi all

I have SPD and the consultant says I will be induced in January so as the baby is not to big for my pelvis!!!!!!!! Ouch. I have had 2 babies before, both naturally although I never had SPD then it is so painful . What does being induced involve? Any advice very welcome.

i think wen they induce u its either a drip or injection.....?! they will continually monitor u tho so u will b in safe hands hun!!! hope all goes well!! ***

it depends on how things are progressing when they do it, usually they do a thing where they insert something inside you which should make you dilate and contract. if your waters are breakable they will break them or if the first isnt working, or if your waters have broke or your not dilating right, they will use the drip, or if the first and second arnt working. hope that makes sense? lol

yeah that is what happened to me i had the drug first put up me and when that didnot work the following day they took me down to the delivery suite and wired me up to a drip with the stuff in to make the contractions happen
