Period like cramps

Ok I have been feeling period-like cramps on and off for like two nights now, and they have been getting stronger todaydays. I don't really feel them in my back yet or anything though. Question is for you ladies out there how long before you went in to active LABOR and went to the hospital did you feel the period cramps?

i got a rether large crap on friday mornin at 1am lol after seeing a HUGGGGEEEE spider haha. they came really irregular (sometimes i was fine without any discomfort for hours and hours) finally got worse and worse until i couldnt sleep at 4am on sunday morning, was in the bath my 4.30 and was in quite a bit of pain had my sweep at 11 and things really took off! if your not sure why not give your midwife a ring? its what theyre there for! well...you'll have to ring the delivery suite now cos its late but theyll give you advise, they did for me!

but yes it felt like period cramp at first :P

Do not worry charlie i think you will be having your baby before me so no need to scream.

I can not ring my midwife or the delivery suite because all the phones in my home are not working and i do not have any money on my mobile i so need to get money on it soon.

I have made up my mind im going to have him tonight
Well i just have two weeks & 1 day to go and in days i have 15 days to go
Last night and today the cramps have been pretty gnarly...but I don't exactly feel an urge to call a dr or anything yet...I keep hearing these stories about girls feeling these kinds and not thinking much about them and then they end up being like 8 cm dialated when they get to the hospital. I hope it is like that for me!

it was kinda like that for me...when i went to hospital i was expectin 5cm but i was 10cm!! :O

anyways your babies shall come when theyre cooked! (thas what my mam told me) i was 8 days late and it drove me round the bend waiting!

every time ive looked on the net for labour signs etc everyone always says trust me you will know when your labour, so when your screaming on the floor then your labour lol! rons parents are nagging at ron cause he told them i had a bit of pain in my hips and they started having ago at him to get me to the hospital etc its like hello im not in labour ill no when im in labour grrrr lol
