spd and induction

hi girls, i am 38 weeks and i have spd, as the babies head is decending it is really hurting my pelvis, he seems to enjoy sliding his head in and out of engagement (2nd baby!) but i find it really really painful, also with my first baby i was induced at 42weeks as i had pre eclampsia. i would really like to be induced early this time, does any one know if this is possible? can i ask for a stretch and sweep? or be booked in to be medically induced or do u have to be over due?

i was a week over before i got my sweep! Ive heard that u can asj for them if u have really bad pains or somethin tho

im seeing my midwife today so im going to ask if i can come in for a sweep next week when ill be 39 weeks, kind of a compromise!

saw my midwife yesterday, she said as my blood pressure is still fine i cant have a sweep till im term + 7 officially but she is coming to see me on my due date to see what my cervix looks like.
